The Design Monster is branching out!

Have you ever been in the situation where you can't find a birthday card that says what you want it to? Well ... rest assured your not the only one.

The Design Monster created this card for a specific person celebrating their 30th birthday and as you can guess, it was for Trevor, who loves tractors. This card was designed, printed and very carefully handcut by The Design Monster.

With the recent development of The Design Monsters new identity, it was important to follow it through not only on the blog and twitter, but also onto the business cards.

To keep the cards fresh and relevant, we took advantage of the fact we could get six different versions printed at the same time, and utilised the reverse side of the cards to give a friendly reminder of who The Design Monster is by providing reference to our website, blog and twitter feeds.

Atlantic Breeze Apartment website is now live!

Over the last few months, The Design Monster has been working very closely with the owners of the Atlantic Breeze apartment (Cape Town, South Africa) to produce and build a website that will be used to help promote this luxurious holiday rental to a wider global audience.

The name 'Atlantic Breeze' was chosen by the owners of the apartment to give it an identity and to clearly differentiate it from other holiday rentals within the Cape Town area. The task of the The Design Monster was to create a visually striking logo to compliment the name and to give it some association with the natural habitat of South Africa.

Once the visual identity of the apartment had been established, a website design was developed to encompass all the requirements needed to promote the apartment. From the information supplied by the clients, the website is not only just showing-off the amazing quality of the apartment, but it has also turned into an extremely informative site to give potential holiday makers a taste of what Cape Town has to offer during their stay.

Upper Eden Education Trust identity

The Upper Eden Education Trust is a co-operative trust that has been brought together to promote educational opportunities for all age groups within the Upper Eden Valley.

In order to assist the trust in reaching out to its potential members (pupils, staff members & local communities), The Design Monster was asked to create an identity that would appeal to these audiences, while at the same time, encapsulate the co-operative and ethical values of the trust.

The trust asked for their identity to be produced in a variety of layouts so that each one could be used for different applications.
